Jean Maxwell

Jean Maxwell is a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience. She earned her MS in Nutrition from East Carolina University in 2007. She is currently in the process of earning her Doctor of Science degree in Integrative Healthcare from Huntington University. She has worked with a wide variety of clients, ranging from those with diabetes and heart disease to athletes.
She is passionate about finding that right combination of healthy and delicious, and love showing others that it CAN be done! She loves cooking and baking, especially vegetarian and vegan recipes, and sharing her homemade goodies with friends and family.

Jean likes offering clients a gimmick-free, sustainable way of eating that will last a lifetime. She gives her clients the tools and education they need to put their nutrition into their own hands for as long as they live. No crash diets, no going hungry, no saying goodbye to the foods you love. Almost ANY food can be part of a healthy eating plan! Anyone and everyone can make changes for the better. She can show you how!

Jean is unique in the sense that you don’t have to drive to an office building, wait in line, or sit in uncomfortable chairs. She can come to you! Even better — almost all services can be conducted over the phone or online, so if you aren’t local to the Hampton Roads area, that’s okay! She got you covered!

InnerShift Presents: Silence in Sound

A one-hour guided meditation and sound bowl experience.

Come home to yourself through the meeting of stillness and vibration. Silence in Sound is a guided experience inviting you to reconnect with your inner peace while being held in the soothing frequencies of sound.

During this workshop, Tracy Barbee will gently guide you in learning how to meditate within the sound—teaching you how to find stillness, awareness, and breath as waves of vibration move through and around you. At the same time, Harmony Beeman will offer a live sound bath healing, creating a meditative soundscape with crystal bowls and resonant tones that support release, clarity, and restoration.

Together, sound and silence become a mirror—reflecting you back to your natural state of balance and ease.

✨ This event is free and open to all. Reserve your space and experience what it means to truly Return to Center. RSVP required.
